Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service govern your use of SalesLeak.io and the services provided by SalesLeak (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. What SalesLeak does

SalesLeak is an exit intelligence tool for ecommerce merchants. It places a lightweight script on your product pages that captures open-text responses from shoppers who move to leave without buying. Those responses are processed by AI to identify friction themes and estimated sales at risk.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use SalesLeak. One account per store. Your store URL is set at signup and cannot be changed — contact support if you need assistance.

3. Free plan

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Growth plan features and up to 1,000 responses. No credit card is required during the trial. At the end of the trial your listeners will pause unless you choose a paid plan.

4. Paid plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5. Response limits and auto-upgrade

Each plan includes a monthly response limit. If you reach your limit and auto-upgrade is enabled your plan will move to the next tier automatically and you will be notified by email. If auto-upgrade is disabled your listeners will pause until the next billing cycle or you manually upgrade. You will receive an email notification at 80% of your monthly limit.

6. Cancellation and data retention

You may cancel your account at any time from the My Account page. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. After 90 days all data is permanently deleted. Reactivating within 90 days restores all historical data.

7. The widget and shopper data

By installing the SalesLeak script on your store you are responsible for informing your shoppers that exit feedback may be collected. You must ensure your own store’s privacy policy discloses the use of third party tools including SalesLeak. SalesLeak acts as a data processor on your behalf for any shopper data collected through the widget.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SalesLeak to collect data on pages unrelated to ecommerce product pages, to attempt to reverse engineer or copy the SalesLeak platform, to resell or sublicense access to SalesLeak without written permission, or to use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws.

9. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any loss of data or revenue resulting from downtime, technical issues, or interruptions to service.

10. Intellectual property

All SalesLeak software, design, branding, and content is owned by SalesLeak. You retain ownership of the data collected through your listeners.

11. Limitation of liability

SalesLeak is provided as is. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use of SalesLeak after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
